Folks: You will have to define a "non-professional" affiliate program first. If by that you mean a program that scams you out of your rightfully-earned commissions, with no valif reason for doing so, then I guess your anger and frustration are justified. What, also, if being "flagged" by the merchant? Does it mean you did something wrong according to your original affiliate agreement? Yes, there are many crooks out there -- scammers! But if they can get away with it as simply as some of you claim, then they should be reported and their names should be published. The Web is unimaginable huge! Anyone with a computer and access to the web can be a scammer and can be scammed. I am positive that there are many legitimate programs -- the major ones -- like Rich Jerk, Affiliate project X, Neill Waterhouse Report, etc., will actually make you some money if you buy in and do it the way they tell you to. In fact, new programs are being launched almost daily these days and that can be both good and bad news. I mean, it becomes a glut. Call roto-rooter! Some gurus are launching mulktiple programs and even usinmg each other as "testimonials." That means some gurus have other gurus as their "affiliates" who earn money from each other just by promoting each other's products. I, for one, am not impressed by seeing those long, boring ads that follow the same pattern and format. Why does it take them so long to tell us what the product is and will do and get to the point of how much the product costs? Tell me what the products is and what it can do and why it is better than what someone else is offering or why I need it. Give me a few success stories (no gurus, please!). Give me information on my "bonuses." Then tell me how much it will cost. For me, I have found another kind of program that i think can't miss or at least will bring me more passive income than any of these affiliate programa. I am just starting to buy into it, so, i will let you know later how it goes.
