50 Pages Website is a unique directory where we will only list 500 website on 50 pages with 10 websites on each page. The idea to develop this site is when I saw the 500Words, One Million Dollar Homepage and Page Hole. All this site are uniques and part of internet history and I want to be part of it too. But the nostalgic value only is not enough because I want all the sites listing here will get traffic and spidered by the search engine as well. And since that I'm running a directory too, I got an idea to combine all the above features, and create a unique directory that not only have a nostalgic value but it is worth an investment in term of traffic, and search engine ranking as well.

How long my site will be listed here?
Your site will be listed here permanent or at least 5 years. As I stated above I want this site to be part of internet history and I want to stay it as long as possible

What type of site that you not accept?
I won't accept site that related to adult, gambling, unfinished site and site that full of advertisement without content. Only 500 sites will be listed here so I want all those sites is a high quality sites.

How long will it take for my site to get listed after submission?
All submission will be manually review by me and will be listed within 24 hours

 

The idea of this is.. Interesting... But... I dont know how much traffic you get... or what your PR is for those PR fanatics... But... If either of those two is low... I HIGHLY doubt that anyone will be interesed in spending 50$... Because that $50 can be spent elsewhere and bring in more traffic ect... ect... then on a page with no traffic or PR. Just my thoughts...

thanks for your comment. As you can see, the site is still new but I'm promoting to get more traffic. $50 is for frontpage only and you can have your site listed on deeper page for as low as $1. And that is for permanent and I believe in a long term, this is a good investment.

 

Well im just trying to tell you that the only sales you might get would be on page 45 - 50. Look at it from this point. If you invested $50 into ONE link on a website that has no PR or Traffic and then the owner of that website decided its not worth it anymore and just let the website go stale... That would be a waste of $50. I'm Sure you have good intentions, But you might want to lower the price of the links until you get some major traffic or PR. By doing that, you would see more sales, traffic, ect... Also I just thought of something, Use page 50 for people who provide a recepricol link back to you that way you could get some traffic out of it? I mean... Page 50 is only $1... you wouldent be loosing much profit.

It will be interesting to see how deep the search engines will spider it.

 

First page sold out. And 5 links sold on page 50. Search engines won't have any problem to spider I believe, because even though the page number is higher, but it is still on the same level as index.html file like this http://www.50pageswebsite.com/40.html and this http://www.50pageswebsite.com/20.html. But site on the first 20 page will get more traffic and exposure I believe.

 

The deeper the lower PR though. And page 50 is too deep. I am not even sure how log for the spider to crawl 10 or higher pages? The idea seems to be rather unique, but non-categorized pages don't get a good SERP.

I'm pretty sceptic too, but I love the idea anyway, at least it's innovative.

Actually, if nobody did it so far, it's because of the spidering and traffic issues, so not only it's innovative, it's also brave.

I have added a sitemap here http://www.50pageswebsite.com/sitemap.html so I think shouldn't be no problem for search engine to spider and visitors can jump to any page too.

Less than 12 hours, the website is already have more than 300 visitors with little promotion and I believe the traffic will be higher because I'm doing an all out promotion right now
