Hey, i have read so many posts on DP about people getting banned for 'no reason', and complaining about how google just bans people for the smallest things, so i thought id share how nice google has been to me over the last few years.

When i first started out with google, i recieved 3 or 4 emails from them regarding violating their TOS. Some things minor(labeling ads wrong, and accidently encouraging people to click ads...and yes, it really was an accident). They also contacting me about 'questionable' advertising methods that brought traffic to my website. All in all, im surprised i didnt get banned, i was one of those lazy people looking for quick money. The point is, the every time google contacted me, i responded within 24 hours, and made the appropriate changes, and stopped being one of those people that other adsense members hates. I have also contacted them promptly everytime i accidently clicked on my own ad, or suspected click fraud. So to avoid making this post any longer, heres what happened, i sent google an email yesterday, as i accidently clicked one of my own ads, they sent me this response:

so what im trying to get at here, is that if you are honest with google, and dont go out of your way to make them mad, they will return the favor. just thought id share a nice story about G for once, as they arent really as bad as people say when it comes to banning people :)

Very true, I don't know why people hesitate to contact google that they've done something wrong... they ban your account because they want it to stop.. thanks for the good example, hopefully this will clear things out with some people..

    Bingooooooo!

Don't try to screw them over and they won't try to screw you over... FOR THE MOST PART. It is IMPOSSIBLE that a few honest publishers don't get banned, but with persistence, evidence, and cooperation I am sure things can get ironed out with a happy ending.

It's advisable for webmasters to develop some kind of relationship with the account managers for the program. So many times I see I was banned for no reason "what do I do". If those people had established contacts with Google then they would know what to do. Ask what happened.

I believe many of those who are banned are knowingly "testing" the boundaries of the TOS.
