i just want to report that my blog at forumrating.com got hacked, though i have updated blog to new version . i would suggest all of you to constantly update to new versions as and when they come. i lost some very important posts that i had put up for forum promotions.
It is sad to see your blog is hacked and I guess that hacker want to buy domains. He also left email ID
Actually i do login everyday. Once i login i can see a alert box whether i need update or not. So, even without visiting wordpress.org i get alert. Well, i mean atleast once in a day we need to visit our blog site. Of course, there may be some scripts which can mail us alert on new patches or updates. If anything , please recommend. Sorry that your blog got hacked. It's very important to update newer versions or patches released and also install firewalls, antiviruses and spy removers to your pc.
