So here are the points you should know.

    1. If the buyer really wants to buy your domain he never offer a higher price than your minimum asking price because everyone want to get a domain at low cost. Not at a higher price.

    2. If the buyer forcing you to get a paid appraisal for your domain. It's totally a spam. If he really want to buy your domain, why he can't get a paid appraisal for that domain?
Don't be fooled and waste money. Most probably he will ask to get an appraisal from a specific site because it his own site or he is an affiliate of that site. (Actually I should reveal this. In this case go-appraiser.com )

    3. Fake buyers will pretend that they are well known people by adding signature that he has a reputable position (In this case CEO, lol :p ) and making fake profiles with fake reputation in the sites and show you that he is a well known and reputable person to let you trust his lies.

After the last reply, the spammer/fake buyer didn't send me any reply because he knew that he can't cheat me to get a paid appraisal from me end enjoy that money. I am now going to send the link of this thread to him and surprise him. Poor guy. :D

This is a good example for new people who are entering to domain business.

This scam has been going around for a while, it's nothing new. You blacked out the domain they were using to send you the email from but I have a good idea what domain it is..I bet if you Google'd the domain you'd see other scam threads alerting about this scam..

Oh I blacked out it. The scam email address is . Yeah. There was only one article about this scam in a site when I googled it.

So final conclusion should be as follows.

    1. Don't register to seven-forums.net
    2. Don't go to appraise your domain from go-appraiser.com
    3. Don't trust the fake domain buyers coming from the email address {name}@lowcost-hosting.com

That domain is listed as scams on a few other forums as well..I got one from last week. If you google that email address you will see the other forums as well.

The bottom line is never pay for an appraisal for someone else. If someone wants you to get an appraisal on a name before buying it then tell them it will have to be paid for by them, and even better from a reliable appraisal company such as Afternic or Sedo.
