Well, ya I also got few mails but not related to PayPal. Gmail shows it directly that this mail may not be from the real sender. Good feature ! And thanx for letting us know about it. Its better to never click on any link in emails. I open PayPal directly everytime not by clicking any link of it. - Digital -
First of all let me tell you one thing that paypal never use 'Dear valued PayPal® Customer' as they always start with 'Dear (Your Name)'. It is always advisable to go to any financial as well as other website through open site in new browser with typing url yourself. Never click any link provide in any email in such cases. DON.
As a thumb rule, just be always wary of any e-mails from financial service provider that asks for personal information verification. These companies do not repeatedly ask for such information...midway! 99.9 % of the times, such information seeking e-mails are scams and so it is always prudent to direct them to trash bin without giving it a second look!
