I've never noticed this before (they could of been doing it for years for all I know), but when you do a search on the bbc site you get served up bbc ads on the side bar, guess if you've got a big enough site you don't need google or yahoo. eg http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/search/results.pl?tab=allbbc&go=homepage&q=cooking+fish+ Wonder if you can sign up for bbc ads?
