Like I said, ignorance from Liberals gets votes for Republicans.

Even IraqBodyCount (which is against the war) demonstrated what a load of crap that study was.

    Thanks for your support.

Lets agree to disagree about measuring the civilian deaths in Iraq, its a never ending debate. But I bet there are more than 100,000 families in Iraq that have mourned the loss of a loved one in this war.

Do you care to name which UK news source is unbiased?

Let us know when you become interested in learning facts rather than spouting off blatent lies sprinkled with a dash of "let's agree to disagree" just because you happen to like this lie and don't want to let it go.

Its irrelevant to this discussion. BBC admits they promote extreme views over other views. They admit they have no problems offending christians or jews, but will walk on eggshells not to offend muslims. You don't see any issue with this? They also have a reporter embedded with the Taliban in afghanistan. Ever wonder if that guy gets a good chuckle when they kill a british soldier? Hmm?

The fact that there is no such thing as an unbiased TV news channel is 100% relevent.

Here is exactly why the BBC may take it upon itself to speak in favour of Muslims at the moment:

The BBC is aware of and takes account of contemporary social sensitivites. It is aware that Muslims are currently being demonised by many news sources in the UK so it is doing its part not to contribute to that demonisation.

There is nothing wrong with this policy and I personally think it is applaudable.

If the facts are demonizing you then methinks it would be a good idea to change the facts. Not to ignore them.

So you are okay with the BBC doing this, then? Showing a preference, not only to ideas but to cultures. Embedding reporters with people who kill british citizens. Its all okay to you?

The problem with bias in "news" reporting is that without a full-disclosure of the bias, many people do not realize what they are seeing, hearing, and reading is reported (even manufactured) from a certain perspective.

People tend to fall into the "if it's on TV" it's true mentality. You can call it non-critical thinking.

While removing all bias isn't possible, it is possible to recognize it and work to minimize it. The worst part is when major media outlets don't even recognize their bias (remember Dan Rather?) and think they are being honest and just reporting the "facts".

Whats wrong with embedding reporters on both sides of a war? Every war has two sides, the BBC reports on both sides. Thats what being impartial is about.

Thats why I gladly pay my £130 fee every year.

    I agree.

The worst kind of bias is intentional manipulation of the facts to further a particular political party whilst claming to be fair and balanced.
