I'm just finishing up and launching a new eBay service. It takes the user's searches and looks for new auctions every 30 minutes (this can be changed to up to 12 hours). When it finds a new auction it will alert the user via email. eBay and any other auction notification services (there aren't many) send out notifications once a day. This is what makes me different. Everyone - please feel free to signup. Please let me know if you have any thoughts, ideas, input, etc. or experience any problems. URL: http://www.baymonitor.com/ Thanks!
You've got to get loyalty on your side. There are so many Ebay frauds now where users are becomming more and more weary about giving their ebay username and password... I can help if you are intested?
eBay users don't have to give their username or password. I should probably mention that. PMed you peeg.
Yes there are and a lot of people use them. So if you bundled your service with sniping then it might appeal to a lot of ebay junkies. Sort of a one stop ebay hackhouse.
I would have to collect eBay usernames and passwords. This is a problem for me, because I do not want to have this liability.
You know, I think they have a different system now. I signed up for some service where they let you control auctions from another web site so you can relist auctions easier, and that place did not want my password...rather they wanted me to authorize an ebay TOKEN which works as a password just for them. I think they have a key and you have a key and it works somehow. So there might not be that kind of risky liability any more due to this advancement.
