The former World Heavyweight Champion, Batista has got so many oppurtunities to become the champion again. But unfortunately, he was haunted by injuries and close calls. It's true that it's tough against a legend like the Undertaker. But the bottomline: BATISTA DID NOT GET THE JOB DONE. The question arises. Is he good enough to be in the WWE? Not many people choke in so many oppurtunities. Ina buisness like this, you need to do anything to become champion. A great wrestler is one who has gold around his waist.
I am a great fan of Batista. He is no doubt a good wrestler but because of his injuries he lost his title. I am pretty sure that he will once again become the world heavy weight champion in a few months.
i also like batista! im sure they will give his break soon...you know, WWE is scripted as he said... maybe they would to give fame to someone else now..
Injuries are part of the business. There is no doubt that Batista is a great wrestler, but not good enough to et the job done. Two chances against Edge is more than enough to win the title back. I'm, in fact, against the Do or Die match even. In professional wrestling being the 'nice guy' deosn't take you to new heights. Simply said, Batista has had his chance. And it's time to give someone else the oppurtunity to be the new number one contender.
i like him, but bullshit, sometime its like they act like they are only puppet and anyone running from behindly!
Jeff Hardy proved this Monday that the average "Wrestling Fan" prefers the better wrestler as he was massively out cheered in his match against Jeff Hardy.
Age has never been an issue in the world of professional wrestling. If Batista is old, Undertaker is even older. But he's still phenomenal. Triple H once said, " I'll get that title even if that means killing my grandmom". A wrestler must have the guts to do anything - manipulations, cheating etc even - to succeed in WWE and get the gold around his waist.
It's true that fans love Batista. But fans are behind wrestlers who do things they would like to see. They were cheering for Taker in his matches against The Animal. Now Batista Vs Edge, they're behind the Animal again. Dave's a good wrestler. True. But he's not been successful enough. Is he trying too much to be a fans' favourite and not doing anything behind the referee's back or by weakening the opponent before their match-up? People do not become successful just because fans cheer for them. Nobody cheered for King Booker except for his strange wife. But he was largely successful. The bottomline: Good wrestlers win matches and championships.
I completely agree with you GRIM. I think that Stone Gold Steve Auston only left the wrestling because WWE wanted him to lose matches.
It is out of Batistas hands to win or loose the tittle. It's the WWE management who decides wether a wrestler wins or looses depending on their script and current storyline.
Batista is one of the best wrestler in WWF. But to beat legend like Undertaker its very hard. Batista is good wrestler.
True. Defeating The Undertaker is not any ordinary task. But what about the losses to Edge? There is absolutely no meaning in being just strong. One must be smart to succeed in professional wrestling. And Edge is smarter than Batista.
Yeah, right! Next thing you'll say is that Santa and the Easter bunny are not real. You should be banned
