Batch uploading posts to Wordpress

    What's the best way to make a bunch of posts to Wordpress at once? I would also need to manipulate the timestamp, categories, etc.

    Automated plugins make some people lazy. ;)

    I am looking for a way to batch upload articles I already have written to Wordpress.

    I am not looking to post someone else's feed to my blog; there are already 100 plugins for that.
