I definitely agree with everything you said. and I would like to add Social Media to the list!!! Having a Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin acct and constantly interacting on those will help as well.
Nice tips, SEO in this day and age is all about targetting human users as opposed to thwarting the efforts of the search engine algorithm
SEO is very important for promoting your site and you can get the good traffic, back links and you can get the good rank in search engine with the SEO techniques like On page are meta tag, title tag, relevant keyword and many more and Off page are forum posting, blog commenting, article submission, directory submission and social bookmarking.
White hat SEO is what, we should go for.. Watching the backlinks that are targeting to your site, and which off-page process is counting more, should be known and followed..!!
That depends on your definition of strongest. You can easily create a brand new website, make it look nice, and post some really viral link bait on it and see waves of traffic over night. I had a brand new tech related website, made some unique posts about really strange gadgets, submitted it to Reddit and Digg, and got 5,000 unique visitors to my brand new site within 8 hours of it going online. That also generated a ton of links to the site from other people sharing it, and even generated some ad revenue. There's nothing blackhat about that - but I was able to make money within 8 hours of the site going online. I think that's pretty powerful. On the other hand, I've had blackhat sites that were ranked #1 for a whole array of keywords that tanked overnight due to algorithm changes. And I've had other blackhat sites that were making tons of money get a manual review from Google and be de-indexed. Blackhat is like gambling - you might win big sometimes, but you'll also lose big other times.
Ya all these are very basic SEO points, regular update contents and link building are very important factors of SEO...
Must also try to cover the details of carrying out seo process...points are helpful enough in tending the newbies to perform seo through white hat techniques..!!
After Google Panda update google checks website content after that your website backlinks and more things.
I will suggest that anyone who is just starting a SEO career should regularly read a few blogs on this topic. The best examples are: SEOGuruBlog, SEOMoz Blog, SEOBook blog. Most of the information in articles and ebooks is usually outdated and will only get your sites penalized or not rank well at all. Blogs contain fresh insights on the SEO technologies.
If everyone followed these guidelines we would have a much better search quality when using a search engine. My company offers seo and one of my terms and conditions is that your site needs to be of quality and value to the search results before I work on it. So I agree completely with what vietlk has said above.
