I have designed a website for ItsPlatonic.com, which will be an online friendship-making site, but I am looking for someone to take it to the next level by performing the following: 1. Improving the current design through a consistent color scheme, smooth & scalable graphics, and overall basic improvements in design. 2. Redesigning current pieces of the website that were 'borrowed' from others, so that they are unique to ItsPlatonic. For this contest, I am providing 1 page of our website. For your entry, improve the current design (#1 above) and redo the section in the lower right "Rank among Facebook friends" (#2). I would like that section to maintain the same look, feel, and message, but to be unique (currently cut and pasted from another site). .jpg attached. .psd available here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58668767/home - external use.psd =========== This is a 72hr contest w/ guaranteed winner if there are 5+ entries. $50 by PayPal immediately upon winner selection, with optional continuation on other pages of the site to become a $150 project (will be discussed with winner). =========== Style Guidelines: -This should be in-line with other social network/meeting sites: Simple, professional, accessible for all users at all ages but especially focused on tech-savvy users 20-35 years old. Keep in mind that it is a friendship site, so warm/friendly colors are appropriate. Facebook, LetsLunch, GrubWithUs, and MindMeister all have sites that have a look and feel that would be appropriate for this. Feel free to be creative! These are just guidelines to help, but if you have a better idea, go for it. Look at my previous contests to see that I always follow through with quick, detailed feedback on entries. Thanks for entering! Other things worth mentioning:· Please post submissions in the forum for all to see. This will help when I provide feedback. · PSD files from the winner, with component scalable images provided · Zero-tolerance approach to copying. · Original work: No templates or stock-images. · By submitting you agree that if selected as winner and paid for, I hold all ownership and usage rights to the design.
I am sorry to see that has not received any submissions or PMs thus far. Any feedback? Is the contest too complicated, the prize too small? I'm happy to make changes to ensure this works, and appreciate you letting me know why you may have viewed this but not entered. Thanks.
Based on the limited number of entrants, I am cancelling and changing the parameters for this contest by posting a new one.
