Hello everyone, new to the forum and charging straight ahead with my first question. I am looking to build a few basic websites, nothing spectacular but something that looks tidy and appealing to the eye. I was just looking for a few recommendations from people on certain aspects such as: Recommened resolution, Tables/No tables, Basic HTML or CSS. Everyones opinions are welcome and if you have any useful resources or tools to help me along the way, things like pixel2life etc please do let me know! I have an adequate amount of knowledge in HTML, Photoshop etc but never put it to full use in getting a site live! Thanks in advance for your replies! Andy
Hey there you sure know the terminology pretty good! oops If you're looking to get this done and fast with little or no effort I would suggest selecting a nice html/css web design. There are many free templates on the net! I have put a nice list together and it can be found here. All the link I have in this list are 100% free to download and you should find some really nice ones too! http://www.yoursourceforinfo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=40 If you're looking to run your website on an automated database (install and go) I suggest looking here through the list of website script demo's I have they are very useful! http://www.yoursourceforinfo.com/scripts.html EDIT: Sorry about the adbrite ads, (the green words) I'm removing that shortly they abuse their privileges 100% and take over to many words!
Thank you both replies! Some great resources there! There are some tidy looking templates on those websites! It's definetly a great start!
