    IMO Competitor Research is one of the method to get a rank. Analysis your competitors link. get a link in that place. If we do right on page optimization, it will help us to get rank well too. Make sure that your metas had a keyword in it.

    Google likes backlinks diversity. Basic steps may not be good enough. We need to do a variety of off-page SEO as mentioned by marylandlawoffice.

    build quality backlinks.
    Write articles, blog articles, forum postings, site submission and blog submission.

    Make sure all of this are quality contents.
