basic questions

    Hey,

    I very new to most everything but willing to learn. I have some basic knowledge in running a current site i have but just staring in the building phase.

    I have to ask the very first question i guess. I have uploaded a basic template to my sever. How do I view it as a page?

    You will have to use template in html/php/asp or whatever you are running to view it.

    You just need to type in the domain.com plus the file name of the page in your browser.

    So if you uploaded the file called newpage.html then type in domain.com/newpage.html

    If you uploaded newpage.html to a directory called newdir then type in
    domain.com/newdir/newpage.html
