basic questions from a curious newbie

    Hi,

I thought I'd pick something near the bottom of the list on the assumption there'd be less competition.

However, a lot of them don't say what they pay - in fact, they have no figures at all. Are these old sites that no longer pay affiliates but just haven't been removed?

I wonder too if there's any way of knowing which products convert well - being at the top of the list (sorted by popularity), I guess just means lots of people are trying to sell them, but they might not give the best EPC?

    Thanks

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking...but I think you are speaking of the sites with no numbers or anything showing up.

These are the sites that have not been sold yet. They were recently published and untill they get their first click bank sale ...will remain blank.

    I hope this helps...

    Thanks for replying.

I was asking because I'm interested in promoting one of these new merchants. But it's a bit difficult if I don't know how much they are going to pay.

    Cheers

You can find this out by simply clicking on "Create hoplink" beneath the listing in the marketplace.
It will open up a pop-up which will contain the amount of commissions in % you will earn for every sale.
Simply visit the vendor's website and take a look at the prices to figure out how much $ you will actually earn per sale :)

When making a choice as what product to sell from the marketplace, many affiliates say they like to look at the refered rate percentage. Of course if you sort your search by poularity that should let you know that many people are promoting that the top listed products with success, otherwise the popularity ranking would be lower.

The refered rate generaly means the percentage of sales made by the affiliates versas the vendor. Some say they like to see a high refered rate more than 50%

    Hope this helps,

    Success to all,

    Paul
