Basic Question about CJ

    Hi,
I have been promoting CJ products in past on one of my sites, however, I am about to add another website in the CJ network.
In Linkshare, if you add-up multiple sites, for every site you list, you have to apply for merchant programs.
It is easy to find which site is promoting which merchants with the ease of a click. Just switch over to a site and then goto My Advertisers and you can see which advertisers have accepted your website in their affiliate program.

However, how is this managed in CJ? If I have SITE A and have affiliation with 20 merchants and I add a new SITE B, can I promote those 20 merchants with my SITE B? Or do I need to signup with merchants once again to promote their products through my SITE B?
I have always been confused since CJ Control Panel does not reflect which site has affiliation with which merchants.

I would appreciate if someone can provide information.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Andy.

As far as I know, CJ advertisers approve YOU.
Which means you can run their ads on any of the sites listed in your CJ account.

    Hi Kerosene,
Thanks for the reply, +rep added.
With due respect, are you sure if an advertiser has approved my SITE A and later I add SITE B to CJ, I can promote that advertiser using my both sites - SITE A & SITE B?

Anyone else thinks different? Please, I need to know this urgently.

    Regards,
    Andy.

That's the way it's always worked for me. I'm getting commissions from advertisers that I added YEARS ago on sites that I've only recently added to my CJ account .

Having worked as both an affiliate & with advertisers to manage CJ programs, I can tell you that Kerosene is correct - if you add SITE B later, the advertiser doesn't need to reapprove your application. You can promote advertiser on SITE B. Just make sure that SITE B complies with any policies listed in the advertiser's detail page or special terms (if applicable).
