Basic login box

    I need someone to code a login box for my website. I want the user to enter their forum login information from the main site, hit login, it logs them in and then they are redirected back to the main site... where it tells the user that they are now logged in.

    I did this on my own on an old site, but I can't seem to figure it out this time.
