Does adding second Google (text ad) banner or leaderboard, double your eCPM credits for every impression? -If, 'Yes' Wonderful (but I don't think it's that easy). -If, 'No' Then I have an important question: I'm considering revenue sharing with a site which gets the 'top' spot, and my Google is in the footer (we would be 'publishing' two Google ID's with every page). Will any of my eCPM count? If 'No', was the answer above, how can both of ours count?? Thank you, MGH
I am not certain, but here is my expectation: Each ad slot may earn CPM revenue based on the ad chosen to display during a page load. If more than one CPM was displayed, then the revenue would be added together for that page view. However, I don't think you get much control by way of CPM vs CPC ads shown. I say this because it is the easiest way to program the system. An ad provides so much revenue per click or per display and summing them up per page load is quite simple.
I'm really surprised. Are you quoting straight from the Adsense TOS? (I assume you are, but need to be sure)
see for yourself: https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US -> 2. Implementation and Operation ....... -> Second paragraph: AdSense for Content... -> last sentence is my quote. Guess you can mail them and ask for special permision. Not shure.
Thank you, I'm not a Net newbie, but I've enjoyed ignoring Goo for as long as possible. I'm going to check out your Adsense guide rigtht now. Thanks
If you want to share your income from adsense with another person you may create a script that alternates your and your friends ads for every new pageview (or in a different proportion acording to your agreement). Be careful when you create ths script (if you use more ad units on the same page) to make shure all your ad units have the same pub id at the same time! PS: The guide is my pet project and is still a work in progress, I'm trying to add more content when I got a free moment.
you cant use the two different Pub on the same page but you can rotate the different pub id with a script.
