Many websites were accepted and a few were rejected due to the adult content and wrong category submissions.

To solve the problem of top category submission instead of relevant sub-category submissions i modified the directory so people can't submit in top categories and only in sub-categories.

This makes my job easier and helps webmasters in getting their links indexed in relevant sub-categories for their niche.

Thank you and keep the submissions up.

 

The idea of not allowing the submission in the top category is very good and useful indeed, i am thinking implementing the system myself also.

why was my site rejected?

you probably were rejected, because you're website didn't respect 1 of those rules :

1. Do NOT disguise your submission and submit the same URL more than once.
2. Do NOT submit sites consisted of excessive ads and affiliate material or links.
3. Do NOT submit sites that auto-redirect to other sites.
4. Do NOT submit sites with pop-up content.
5. Do NOT submit pornography sites or such.
6. Do NOT submit sites under construction or without content.
7. Do NOT submit sites that contain illegal material, activity or that infringes the intellectual property right
8. Do NOT even bother to submit sites with spyware and other malicious programs that might harm our visitors.
