Hi, The title says it all, "based on your inside knowledge of Adsense, do you think Adwords are a good deal?" Would you pay money for Adwords? Have you bought any in the last 2-3 months? Thanks?
I'm using Adwords for a couple a months and i regret everyday in the past i didn't use it... Jumped my earnings around 300%
Seriously? Tell us more Jarodboy. Do you like advertise with adwords for 1 cent and thereby sending people to your own site and collect with adsense?
didnt work out for me when i tired adwords.. it seems like the only way to make it work is if you have some kind of MFA site.. Because my CTR is low (average, based on what i've seen others' CTR is) - it just doesnt make any sense (or money).. Maybe i'm just missing something.. TELL US MORE Jarodboy !
Depend on your product, my company supports entire offices with adwords advertised sites. We have an expnsive product though that requires entire offices to support, its not something you can get into easy.
I use the Search Network only when doing AdWords - of course the best way to find out is try both networks and see how they compare.
i've been using adwords since friday. it has increased my traffic and doubled my earnings. but, when you take the $6 in revenue i made off of the $3 in adwords i've paid, i'm making the same amount with or without adsense. but, it did double my traffic. adwords would be perfect for a low paying keyword on a site that has HUGE CTR. i have a very low CTR and mid-range paying keywords. so i'm paying $.10 - $.15 per CPC on adwords for a 3% chance of someone clicking a $1 ad on my site. it's been working, it's just not that profitable for me.
I find it very much depends on the niche, some markets it's fantastic for, others it's a waste of money as the click price has been driven so high. Start off small well within your daily budget, if things start to go well then expand into new keyowords and look at upping your click price to maximise traffic.
I didn't expect a positive response about Adwords from Adsense 'insiders'. I'll have to take the good advice and start slow. Thanks.
