Selling Baseball blog - $80 month - PR3 - 5+ yrs old

Baseball site that follows one team and been around for 5+ years under two names (I changed in 2008 to a better name). I switched from Adsense to doubleclick advertising and earnings have averaged $80 month since. I have never taken commercial ads other than through doubleclick but have received many offers.. one last month was from a ticket broker who would have paid $750 for 12 months advertising, so there are more revenue stream opportunities. This site has a new 12 month contract with comscore and a national sports media service (media company partners with FoxSports). I recognize that the site's value is in the writer (me) so I'll agree to post 2x weekly for 6 months free of charge (some reasonable stipulations) to give you time to find another writer. The only reason I'm selling is because I need the income for a new business (doesn't compete nor will I be writing). Accurate revenue potential is about $140 per month (if you take other ads), plus my 6 months writing.. I'll start considering offers around $2,500.

$2500 for $80 a month?

that's quite absurd

 

I've removed part of the revenue stream to sell it quicker. Still has about 1k visitors per day but monthly revenue is now forecast to be $50 per month instead of $80 -- that's only one source of income from Doubleclick. I'll reduce the purchase price from $2500 to 15 months x the $50 which is $750 but will not provide content for that price.
