***BARGAIN***: Ebay business, XXX sales daily over $10K NET PROFIT / MO!

Discussion in 'Sites' started by ados67, Dec 12, 2006.

Posted this on the wrong forum earlier. This is an Ebay business, but it can
include a site etc. - so it definitely fits here.

I've acquired an Ebay business the other day, and unfortunately I would not be
able to take charge of it and run it properly, due to personal reasons.

    Here are some details below.

    1) The business sells around several hundreds of items on an average day.

    2) Average profit per item is $2-$2.5.

    3) The purchase includes 2 automation softwares, one self-made, and the other a
well-known software used to automate a large volume of auctions.

    4) The purchase includes coaching on the correct use of the softwares, and the
correct way for running the business, as well as grow it (large room for growth).

    5) Initial learning curve is between 1-3 weeks (shorter if you're more experienced
online in general, and on Ebay of course), that period will require several hours per
day of your time, for setting up and automating every possaible aspect of the
    business.

    6) The business sells physical products, through dropshipping. The dropshipping
information provided is highly valuable, for two main reasons:

    a) Due to the seniority of the former owner, as well as the volume processed on a
yearly basis, and his good connections with management, he has secured the
highest discount level available for merchants through this dropshipper - the same
discount level 7 figure sellers receive. You will be presented as the new owner and
will receive the same contacts and discounts we have with this dropshipper.

    b) There are many products (brand names) offered through the dropshipping
accounts you will be receiving, which are barely (or not at all) monetized currently,
as the business is focusing on just one item type, and there are MANY available.

    7) After setting up everything, and learning how to work the business, I will not
hide this part - keep in mind it will still take around 3 hours per day to manage after
    the initial setup and automation
. You may, of course, choose to hire an employee
for $500-$1,000 to run this end for you, but if you have some spare time, that would
not be necessary. To actually make the orders, you simply copy and paste your
orders into a spreadsheet, format it slightly, and send it over to the dropshipper.

    8) The business receives payments through paypal, and money orders. Removing
the option for money orders (I was planning on doing that) should decrease sales
by 5%, or so - just looking to make sure you are aware of that, as a potential
    buyer.

    9) The business has operated under this ebay user ID for only 3 months, or so. You
would be able to see the XX-XXX feedback scores given out on a daily basis (as
soon as the ebay member receives the item via mail) through the Ebay feedback,
so proof of revenue is evident through Ebay's feedback system (Keep in mind
of course, that not all ebay members leave feedback - by far... so the actual
amount of sales, is more than reported there - but it provides a very good insight
on the sheer amount of revenue, and volume of sales. You would not have any
doubts there. Also, I have screenshots depicting paypal sales for one specific day
on December (more than a few screenshots necessary, as you can imagine)

    10) The business itself is running for much longer (around 2 years), but most
activity has been done on another ID, which we prefer keeping private - hence, we
are showing the existing one - which has been actively offering these products for
around 2 months. If this is an issue for you, assume the business has been running
for only 3 months, and the problem is solved :) although it would be easy to see
it's been running at full speed since day 1, which of course wouldn't happen with a new business.

    11) The ebay ID is not included, as it is against Ebay TOS to sell it. However, on a
given day, normally we receive over 100 positive feedback. Hence, after selling for
a week or two, you should receive more than enough feedback to appear highly
credible to just about any average Ebay buyer. As an example, the current
feedback of this existing ebay ID has jumped from less than 5,000, to over 6,000,
    in the last 1.5-2 weeks.

Since I am looking to liquidate as soon as possible, to invest elsewhere (or possibly
donate a large amount of the sale price, actually), I am willing to consider offers
that would normally not be considered reasonable for such a business :)

BIN IS $40,000 - which is less than 4 months of net profit. It is, however,
flexible. Make me an offer I like, and you get the business - hands down, no delays.
Payment via escrow, for your peace of mind, and my security :). PAYMENT PLAN
AVAILABLE, with a relatively small down-payment - contact me for more details
    .

If I get a reasonable offer here, I won't advertise via SP and other forums.

By the way, Christmas is coming... expect a nice boost in sales, if you position
yourself well, before Christmas, although that's not a must - since the business in
itself generates quite a bit even outside of holidays - as it sells a product everyone
    buys, all the time.

I thought I posted this on sites for sale earlier - apparently, I had placed it on the main "Buy, sell, or Trade" section on mistake earlier. If I'm wrong, and I did place it here on "Sites for sale" but it was moved there on purpose, then I apologize for reposting it here :) Please contact me via PM and let me know, if that's the case!

you can transfer the ebay ID all that you do is change the email and address on the account ive sold many ebay accounts with no probs at all.
(It maybe against Ebay TOS to SELL but who would tell them ? you would just change the email ect)

Hmm, I'd consider getting back into Ebay actually....

What category are the products in? Don't need to be specific, I just don't want to bother with certain items.
What's the profit margine per item? and What's you're average fraud rate?
What's preventing someone else from using the same dropshipper and undercutting your prices?

Peterdavis - answering all questions via PM right now.

watchfootball - I will not be transferring the ID, as it's against the TOS - sorry. I know the actual process of doing it is not an issue, it's simply against their rules, really.

I will send further details if current negotiations do not work out. I have two parties willing to close the deal under certain terms, and so unless both end up backing out, we seem to have a deal here.

    I'll keep the thread updated.

I do agree about Ebay IDs - bottom line, it's against TOS... as I explained:
