Barcode logo?

    Anybody else seeing the barcode logo on the search page? Wonder what the occasion is? I'm guessing it reads out as Google but I can't|don't read barcode ... ;)

    Guess I shoulda Googled barcode invention date ... LOL! :D

    Thought it might be something more obscure like the anniversary of the first generic packaging ... :eek:

    The barcode not writing "google" but "googlle", this is same as what they using for their 11 anniversary

    It is assumed that Google used their own open source barcode project, ZXing, to generate the barcode.

    It doesn't do that in firefox - just says "Go to Google home"

    Doesn't do it in my FF - maybe my NoScript has something to do with it - but I have it set to allow Google. :confused:
