And, Ronaldo is SUCH a diver! That guy got the ball but Ronaldo saw him challenging so fell DRAMATICALLY.

Hull are shite and got lucky yesterday, on another day Arsenal would have ripped them apart.

I don't support any Prem League team :p

Yeah I know. Real sad. I don't know why the referee in his right mind gave a penalty. Man Utd should have lost that game!

Look at this quote from Alex Ferguson:

"But Rob Styles turned down four or five for us last season, so maybe we're getting payback now. But he still owes us four!"

    Mind games...

I am a die hard toon fan (Newcastle United). Although the club is undergoing some trying times now, I am confident the club will bounce back mid season and finish in the top half of the table. St James Park needs loyal fans to bring the club back to its former glory and maybe.... Alan Shearer too...

    Go toons....:)

Hoster, just saw this on SSN, sorry to disappoint you :p :

Asked if there was any truth in the reports, Shearer told Match Of The Day: "None whatsoever, I don't know where that's come from at all. Don't know what they're talking about."

"I was as surprised as anybody was that he (Joe Kinnear) was appointed. Judging by his interviews it looks like he's a little bit embarrassed himself," added Shearer.

Yea, but we all know that Shearer isn't going to come out and say 'yes, me and Keegan will be managing Newcastle when Ashley sells the club' is he?

After watching Newcastle on MOTD last night it was clear to see, and Owen summed it up whne he said none of the players have any confidence or self belief.

I really hope Newcastle get relegated, just to bring some of their fans back down to earth and remind them that their club isn't as big as it was several years ago.

Yea but Shearer isn't one to keep quiet, check this out

Followed the ref around for 5 minutes after getting elbowed complaining about it.

He sat there on MOTd after being asked the question with a sort of smug grin on his face, as if to say, there might be some truth in the rumour.

I love the English Premiership :), I hate though I had a 7 team accumulator bet on and they all won, and I was relying on Arsenal to beat Hull, but they didnt, so they cost me and my £5 bet £400+, oh well, the joys of betting :) I watched the game on Setanta aswell, I was gutted lol

Yeah totally. We were all gutted.

Also.. Shearer will probably be the first choice to manage once Ashley sells the club!

I do think Newcastle will be in bad shape for most of the season!

Yeah Ronaldo really dived you muppets, It wasn't a pen but he didn't dive. United dominated that game 71% possession and 17 shots on goal.

Did anybody see the Geovanni goal against Arsenal?

Brilliant result for Hull, looking strong this season. Definite contender for Goal of the season.

Yes I saw it. Was a really good goal but a bit too early to say that it is a contender for Goal Of The Season. Hull are definitely staying up this season!
