Barack Obama: "Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel"
What changes can you make as the New US President?

Barack Obama has done it to the white house, despite all challenges he faced, he won the battle of the US Elections with a clear big victory collecting 364 Electoral Votes (64,688,689 Popular Votes) against John McCain who had 162 Electoral Votes (56,950,451 Popular Votes) of the Total 538 Electoral Votes.

Now, with all the promises he made to make a real positive change in the United States and in the Whole World, and with all the power he has now as a US president impacting the policy of the whole world, I really hope that he would be able to make some positive changes, fixing all mistakes done previously, or at least not making new ones!

In that aspect, I recall his debatable speech that caused a real controversy, about the Middle East issues, especially the Israel-Palestine big issue, when he had couple of sharp words said then rolled back in some interview at the ABC News as written and seen here:

Jerusalem must be in dual control, otherwise the fighting will not end as I see it.

President Elect Obama said many things during the campaign to satisfy everyone's need (it was a good strategy).

I don't see Obama actually going on with what he said.

    Peace,

There needs to be some kind of compromise between both parties in the interest of peace. Both sides IMO have done wrong.

All politicians do that -- make a lot of campaign promises they can not keep. Not that they don't want to keep those promises, but there are other factors beyond their control. For example, Obama's promise to implement a health care program for all. Hillary Clinton tried that 15-or-so years ago and lost, mostly because of the high cost. And I wouldn't be supprised if Obama's plan fails too for the same reason. It will bankrupt the USA at a time when we can't afford such luxeries.

I agree. Both sides are at fault. The problem is that no one side is willing to stop for a while, its all politics.
