Let me get this straight. Every news media outlet said Obama donated the money to get enough votes to beat Mrs. Clinton. The print media is running similar articles but yet it's not true?

Smatts the cartoon would be funny if not true.

The U.S. Supreme Court agreed with Democratic Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, granting her a stay on Friday to a decision from a lower court that ordered her to provide a system for implementing voter fraud prevention methods.
SCTUS has rejected the pugs attempt to steal the election.

Was it a stay, or an outright reversal of the appellate decision, so it has been completely remanded back to the state, to do with the election registrations what it will (so the issue is closed)?

    Nonsense.

Voter Registration Card will do just fine.

    It's not.

Funny, but rhetoric. Unless you have a picture of a dead guy standing in line at the polls, it doesn't matter who registers...you have to actually show up at the polls and try to use that fraudulent card, for it to be a crime.

It's not against the law not to have your I.D. on you. It is unlawful to drive without your license...different thing altogether.

That would be a general ruling that benefits everyone, not just minorities. Why would it benefit just minorities ?

Look. ACORN is required to turn in every single registration that they receive. They do not have the luxury of deciding which ones to turn in or not. That would be fraud.

They are merely a registration organization, they are not a state or federal organization. They just turn in the forms.
If they made the mistake of hiring people and paying them based on how many names they turn in, then they should have seen that coming, that is fraud against Acorn by it's workers, not against the system. Fictitious people do not get voter registration cards, and they do not show up to vote.

Somewhere out there, there is a few John Does, Mickey Mouse's, as well as people named Bill Gates, Charles Sheen, Dick Butkis, and many other names tat are the same or similar to someone else's, or fictional characters.

If they were to selectively turn in names based on opinion of which ones are not real, then they would be in real trouble. They have no control over what people write on the form..they have to turn them in.

Everyone is in an uproar over this, yet no one seemed to care that in 2004, thousands of people were turned away from the polls on election day because their name was similar to a felon's name, and they were removed , yet they were not felons. That is out right fraud, especially considering how close the last election was, and that Gore actually won the popular vote.

For instance, a company in Texas, (of all places) supplied Florida with a list of names of felons in Florida to scrub the list against, and thousands of legally registered Democrats in Florida could not vote.
    THAT is stealing an election.

Then they could register and vote regardless.

Wow, did you just say that? Would you rather the stupid minorities just stfu and not "cry" over voter oppression?

Are you guys proud people like this are voting for McCain?

As opposed to some low income non-minority sheep? People who are still so uninformed that 17 days before the election in the year 2008, they still think Barack is a Muslim. THAT's the GENIUSES McCain needs to win.

That doesn't sound very liberal. Well, it does, but aren't liberals the ones always decrying racism and having an open mind?

What if we turned that around? Something like this:

Who would be the first to cry "racist?" Kind of like I've been saying for a while now...Republicans are held to higher standards than democrats.

Why register when they can vote using the dead guys voter card. Oh wait, I was going to suggest showing a state ID but that would be racist.

There not being oppressed what a joke.

Who said I'm voting for McCain?

[/QUOTE] When did Obama change his upbringing? I guess that will be in his second book.

Go back and re-read. What I said was actually in response to what he said. So that WAS me turning it around. So sure he could turn it around after I just turned it around but we'd just go round and round :D

I believe my point was equally illuminating. I certainly didn't see any mention of turning things around. I made sure to mention it in my post though.

Yes, I was seeing reverse racism. "low income non-minority" That's a pretty descriptive phrase, right there. You betcha!

Yep. I was going to post it, George, because I saw this immediately, but it won't help. Anyway - at least one person saw it. :)

ACORN is a community organizing group that registers all people to vote. Not just blacks. Not just Democrats. everyone.
Secondly, they are not a Federal Agency. Each states Secretary of State, The Federal Election Committee, and various other Federal Organizations govern the voting process, not ACORN.

Third, ACORN, just like any other organization that takes voter registration applications is required by law to turn in EVERY application. Not just the ones they feel are fit to turn in. Failure to do so IS a violation of Federal election Laws.

I hope Mccain continues to spend the last of his precious dollars trying to make this an issue with 16 days left till the election. he may as well waste money on trying to prove UFO's exist. he will ride this issue about a community group down to the bottom of the polls just like the Ayers association.

I have an idea for McCain..how about using that precious jet fuel flying around the country to talk about what you are going to do for the country and why you should be President, instead of spending every waking hour trying to get Barack Obama.

If his platform was solid, or if he even had a platform besides "Maverick", and didn't change his rhetoric every 2 days to match the latest media story, he would spend time talking about a McCain presidency, not playing 6 degrees of separation on who might possibly be connected to something that may or may not have happened.

If this is the judgment he will use to govern the country, we will be at war with every country who has a Muslim population, and the economy will operate on 4 years of constant fear, policy changes and speculation.
