I'm happy Obama won. I've been distressed by this administration. On many policies it has totally changed the character and nature of America and turned on the dark side. On the war in Iraq it misled the American public starting with the reasons to go in....and following through on its inept efforts within Iraq. It has twisted the federal legal system and twisted the evidence on science from its own employees.

On the economic scene, it has acted differently, offering no counterbalance oversight over industries that tend to move toward greed. It removed all oversight over financial institutions and probably contributed to the real estate fiasco.

I look forward to the general election and wish Obama the best.

Can you consider Obama's age as one big factor against McCain?

It is one big advantage against McCain, you don't want the President to kick the bucket half way into the Presidency. :)

Thanks for your response, wisdomtool. I just couldn't help but wonder especially since a lot of strategists say that McCain may be older but he has more "knowledge" on more pressing issues such as the war on Iraq.

Why do you try to act "enlightened" above people. It's very narcissistic. You are aware that people don't look at the world the same way you do. Some people actually like policies that support job growth instead of destroying jobs. Some people like to support the idea of freedom over socialism.

Here's the best way to determine if you're going to have a corrupt politician in Washington: they won.
