there's no better or worse product as it depends on your needs. BANS build niche website that looks like a ecom stores with your eBay affiliate linkns; XSitePro is website builder. Each tool can make you $ if you used it right.
XsitePro is versatile publisher program you can use to produce any site you want. With BANS you get a BANS site and you can add other streams of income like Popshops if you want. Otherwise thats all it is. I own both. But if you only want to do eBay site than BANS is good enough,
They are different. Xsitepro can be used for building sales page sites, minisites, content sites and stores. The flexibility is awesome and you can promote whatever you want from the site.
Jamesschramko is right. with BANS you can only promote eBay affiliate program, but Xsitepro is a website builder. They are different.
If you want a third option that combines Amazon, Ebay and other CJ affiliates check out the first link in my sig... Good Luck! nscdn
I am seriously considering giving my site scripts / ebay scripts away for free ( donations would be nice) so I can get in on these product vs. product wars. I have one other product I am testing now that will pretty much combine everything into one product.
if you code or can hire a coder, you can actually get someone to build a BANS-like site with Xsitepro.
One big difference appears to be learning curve. XSite Pro is so easy a caveman could do it. Their tutorial in the help menu is step by step ..."this tutorial will take 5 minutes" and it absolutely takes no more than 5 minutes per section. It is amazing. I downloaded the BANS and it felt like I had a lot of reading to do and I haven't even started yet. I bought it last week and I've built 2 websites with XSite Pro since then. So I'll respond better after I get the hang of BANS but XSite Pro is magnificent for quick building with the SEO taken care of (provided you do what you are told on the SEO tab). By the way, I bought bans just to have another tool for building and to have another look.
Really? Personally I found that BANS is quite easy to set up too. as mentioned before, BANS and XSitePro serve different purpose. It's like comparing oranges to apple.
IMHO, BANS is not "limited". ebay affiliate offers aside, you can add in CPA offers, adsense, and other affiliate links.
Yeah, now Bans have included the new EPN in the updated script. XsitePro can be used to build any webpage, but creating a stores is not a possibility, I believe.
seomoney: creating a store with BANS is possible with editor's kit. however most people do not have the technical know how, this is why they stick to BANS.
It looks like XsitePro is a desktop application for Windows is that correct? If so, I can't use it (I am a Mac guy). I would love to give it a shot someday. I like BANS because it's easy and it's managed through your browser.
