I make as much money using the Editor Kit as I do through BANS. The difference really is the site. The editor kit is to monetize existing content while BANS typically IS the content. Use both as needed.
I would agree with decodethis. The editor kit is based around JavaScript, and as such any content shown is unlikely to be indexed, however, Bans actually generates content.
So, if I have an exiting page Editor Kit is fine, right? For BANS, visit http://www.buildanichestore.com/ For Editor Kit, start by getting Smart Link for eBay and follow direction.
A nice quality that BANS has is the ability to create multiple pages from a major category on eBay. For example, the single category computers can be turned into pages of laptops, notebooks, desktops, macs, HP, etc. It may take a little tinkering and time, but it relatively easy to do. You can also use eBay's editor kit, but I believe it would take much longer to create a similar set of pages. I do use both. I have created BANS stores that incorporate a number of theme related pages. And I have used the eBay Editor kit to create small product ads on individual pages. Quick Note: You do have to be an eBay affiliate though Commission Junction, so join there first before you spend any money on a BANS store. To check out the eBay editor kit go to http://affiliates.ebay.com/ns/RSS.htm to see the various tools available. For more about BANS, see the link in my signature below.
