I was use to my BANS sites going in and out of Google's serps...but for the past 3 months my sites have been steady in google, doing very well.

In the past 3 days however, my sites have dropped in the search results. They haavent dropped out completely but dropped a few pages. i barely get any search traffic now.

    anyone else experiencing this?

Google has stated they don't like thin affiliate sites. I have no experience with BANS but imagine they are. Is it all duplicate content?

dcristo, what do you mean by "thin" affiliate sites? Are you refering the to amount of content on the webpage or the actual width of the webpage?

A thin affiliate site contains almost no unique content. Rather you get a whole bunch of content or products that are offered on several...if not hundreds of other sites. If you've dropped a few pages the first thing I'd check is to see if any of your search terms are listed higher that 31 in Google. This is usually the penalty that google gives to thin sites. Read up on the -30 penalty and you'll see how to tell if you've got this penalty.

I find that hard to believe for an eBay site.
