hi guys i'm pretty new to this affiliate stuff, but I was intrigued when i saw what this guy was doing using BANS Any of you guys had any good experiences with it??
hey meanna_blog: I have good experience with it. eBay tends to convert better if you do it right as it's an established brand.
I have only just started to use this and it is converting for me a little each month. One good site is http://www.thenichestorebuilder.com as it has a 12 week step plan to get you on your way.
You should also check out IncomeStores.com. It includes a number of SEO features such as link building, article submission, automatic social bookmarking, etc, etc. It also makes revenue from Amazon and CJ as well as eBay. See http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=612959 for reviews. See also Forum.IncomeStores.com for more info.
I'm not sure why people are so crazy about these store builders. With eBay's affiliate program you can use their Editor Kit widget to display listings. I'm running it on a simple Wordpress site I set up with a nice template and I can then also write blog articles to support my niche. Best of all it's 100% free. My BANS Alternative: www.aerondeals.com
hi radrew: IMHO these software provide click-and-install solution. Granted, not many people have the technical know-how to use eBay's editor kit.
even though they have "click to install"...it still requires programming knowledge to get ANYTHING successful done.
Yes, bans is pretty good. The conversion rates is good and the commissions sucks but it is very good because of 25$ per signup bonus.
BANS is good if you don't want to write your own ebay affiliate script. I could write my own, but BANS is just so much easier....
The reason why I use BANS is that I can build and move on to create more BANS sites. It is just so simple to set up. With the software in place, doing templates for it is just as easy as well.
thats a very smart looking site. also very very niche. Do you have many sites or does that one give you a decent income?
Yes. Many people here in DP are webmasters, so they take these skills for granted. BUT, there are millions (I mean millions) of people out there who would like to start earning money online but have only VERY basic IT skills. For these folks, BANS is a good choice. IncomeStores.com (which is hosted) is also good for these folks. Not entirely true. I have been a developer for 15 years and I'm still surprised by some of the results you can get without programming skills if you are clever. Agreed - It is a helpful tool set, but not required.
