Banning vs. Disabled

There is some confusion in the webmaster community about Google's reactions when a blog violates Adsense policies. I read it here everyday that webmasters post stories about accounts being banned, disabled or locked and many replies assume that this means all the same, that the webmaster will never again be able to use Google Adsense.

    This is not true.

Webmasters have to make a distinction between account bans and Adsense being disabled on (part of) a url.

If the display of Adsense units was disabled for your website, or part of it, you have still access to your account and a good chance to convince Google that they should lift this state.

You have to carefully read why your website was banned in first place, correct that situation and reply to the message that Google send to you asking them for a reinclusion because your site is no longer violating policies and will not do so in the future.

It takes between 2-14 days before you receive a response and I would suggest to send another mail after 3-4 days.

Make sure the mails are nice, tell them that you understand, that it was a mistake and that it wont happen again. And you should really do just that if they lift it.

So, what I want to say. Not all hope is lost and it depends on the type of mail that you receive from Google.

if your account is banned, theres no way of getting it back unless you submit some solid proof of your innocence.
but, if a domain is banned, it can easily be reinstated by changing the content of the site and mailing adsense team about the change.
    My two cents..

Banned sounds like a heavy punushment; disabled sounds light.

    OMG

My notice said disabled, not banned.

In the meantime, I have chitilka and pay per play!!

Would I have to disable those two?

    I am such a newbie!
