BANNING is a big Wake Up Call

Well, I know there is still a debate whether it is an Adsense ban or some other reason, but seeing the BLANK ads rings home a message to all of us that even the biggest sites and forums are not immune to problems or even banning with Adsense.

I think we should all keep that in mind and always keep other options in mind as you never know when something might not work out fairly to us and it makes no sense to base your entire business on one revenue source (adsense).

I see Adsense as I WILL be banned in the future. Not that I am doing anything against the TOS. But with a mindstate like that I will won't be upset when/if they do ban me. Relying on Adsense so heavy is just like working for an employer who can lay you off at any time. So if you really want to make your own destiny in your online money making adventure then find other routes that YOU control not the other way around.

and I hate to repeat myself over and over, but damn it, stop treating Adsense like you came out its womb. Adsense is not the CIA or the Men In Black so please stop with all the scared talk. We're grown adults not children.

    Just my two cents.

I had a particular site blocked once (not my account banned) - and that is exactly how they did it. Just blank space.

I seen another site earlier today with blank ads.
It was a music lyrics website.

I agree with you 100%, whether it turns out DP was banned or not. You can never put all your eggs in one basket - not only is it a huge risk just to wake up one day and not have any source to make money, but also you don't use your full money-making potential. Having multiple income streams will obviously make you a lot more. :)
