Banners

Does anyone know where a good place to put banners at for my website? Also if you know any high traffic website that would be a good place to put a banner that advertises phone products?

It has been discussed several times that before asking/offering advertisement space you need to see what niche you are looking for or what niche will be beneficial for your site.

You didn't mention what your site is all about? If it is children toys site, will you advertise it on webmasters site? NO. You need to know what sites can give you targeted traffic.

Banners don't work as well as text links, why are you stuck on the banners idea?

 

As some of the others have said, it depends what your site's content is. I personally like using banners because they give my site a professional/corporate edge. But I have a high traffic site and attract big name advertisers on my network, so this isn't for everyone.

Maybe you should think about affiliate marketing and use a mixture of text and image advertisements?

 

well Im advertising with google and yahoo already, but I just want to have banner up now, Also its a Iphone site.

I though the banners are already - a history!.. (???)

 

Banners on my sites get more clicks that Adsense, so banner are not dead. But they do have to look good.
