banners or text?

what should i use?

Banners wouldnt give me an anchor/backlink...but banners would have way higher CTR i assume !?

I don't know if that's true. Where I work, text links perform way better than banners hands down.

 

You should go with text - because it produces more backlinks.

Text ads are the way to go. Then your site doesnt look like an online billboard. That only my opinion.

If you prefer traffic, banner is the best.. But if you prefer backlink or search engine ranking, text ads definitely the choice..

 

True and this is what I was thinking. One Banners take up so much space and could clutter a page just like to many links. You could use more text links vs banners.

 

Is their any weight difference is you use text ads rather than banner ads (since you are actually displaying 5 times the ads on your site)??

 

do you want a site like godaddy where on every page you get so many banner ads ?? just sticck up with text and the users will be happy
