Banner-wide ads for single website

    I see an increasing number of banner-wide ads (768x90 and 468x60) on my side for single websites, much like here at DP.

    Are those ads necessarily website-targeted ads for my domain? if not, what determines when such an ad is displayed?

    No, I mean text ads that are filling the whole banner spot.
