Hello guys, i'm Adsense newbie and i'm offering banner exchange in my site which has Adsense applied what i'm confused about is is it allowed to put banners in the pages that has Adsense blocks even if these blocks are image ads ? also is it allowed put a banner for a torrent site in a page that contains Adsense ? i know that Adsense isn't allowed to be used in sites like porn/torrent/warez site but what if i've a legal site ( from Adsense point of view ) but my site contains links to sites that don't comply with Adsense TOS thanks for taking time to read my post
The best thing to do here is to contact adsense support and have them review your site. You will only get educated guesses here.
You are allowed to using oher advertising/banners on pages with Adsense provided that: 1: They are not contextual 2: They don't mimic Adsense ads 3: They don't advertise/link to illegal content/sites that are in violation of the ToS. I do however think it would be best to show an Adsense rep the banners you want to use together with the sites they link to, in order for them to give you a 100% correct answer.
I already contacted them few hours ago but as u all know they are kinda slow in replying ( sometimes takes 2-4 days ) so i thought about opening a topic here to ask for quick advice and probably discuss this cuz i think it hasn't been discussed before everyone is talking about having suspicious content in His site/s but no one was discussion what if he links to a site that is against adsense TOS if anyone has previous experience, please share with us i'll keep u updated with G's response
I think point 3 is pretty clear: As far as I know Google views linking to sites with illegal content or porn as being affiliated with the site offering the content, thus making it a violation of the ToS for Adsense.
