I'm interested in running some banner advertising for gamefriends upon relaunch but not sure if the ROI is there. I will be making money from a CPC stand point as the ads will not be affiliates. Scenario: I advertise a visual banner (not counted as text link/java ... ) on a website related to games or similar niche. The visitor then comes to gamefriends and either signups and later clicks an ad, or does it soon after arrival. I hope to gain the profit difference between the cost of the banner and the gross of the click on gamefriends. I'm wondering if this is possible as it seems like simple math, but I might have to find a bunch of networks underselling their ad spaces? 1) Have you had success running a banner advertising campaign using a similar strategy? 2) What network did you use? 3) Was it sustainable? Any additional information is appreciated. I got a bunch of other stuff that works now but this could help cover spend from a marketing stand point. Thanks Matt
