    Good day,

I am about to start a banner advertising campaign via ad networks.

Is there anything I can do to reduce my exposure to fraud? Here's the list of things I have already done:

    1. Geo targeting
    2. Frequency cap: One unique per day
    3. Even delivery over 30 days
    4. 24 hour out-clause

Any other things I can do?

How do I make sure that the Ad network actually comply to my insertion order? (aka. the items above)

Also, is there a way I can use my own 3rd party tracking? Instead of just relying on the Ad network's traffic report?

Any advice is appreciated. Many thanks.

What you've done so far is fine. If you choose to advertise via AdWords, they are pretty good at minimizing click fraud on your ad and can do all of what you require.

I believe any statistical program should track visitors that come to your site via a banner. I know that LiveStats.XSP tracked each and every click that I received from AdWords.

Best of luck with your campaign!

You can ask the advertising company if you could see on which sites your banner is popping up on. Then you could go the site and do some research on it and see if its alright. What I would do is find a publisher directory. Go to the B/S/T board and go to advertising section and find a site that someone is selling banner space on that relates to your niche. You'll save alot more money this way, and wouldn't have to worry about any fruad.
