Hi All

I am about to implement banners on one off my directories, to replace the affiliate banners , it would be on the Traffic ranking directory Terranlink.com.

I know that lots of folk here have used them on an off, have your found them beneficial for your directory as pure advertising ?

Were I to implement them, they would be marked clearly as advertising, easily understandable to SE's as well

I had 3 banners made professionally for zorg-links.

To gain traffic and submissions you need to throw your directories brand/link into as many browsers as possible. Banners are a great way. Those who say they care about traffic will be the ones who have banners on as many related places as possible.

Thanks for that, I guess the fame of your directory translated into traffic then ?

The site and the money and time invested on it produced traffic. A lot of which was from banner ads.

If you are wondering what a good banner looks like, see the three that i have

Yeah Manish raised his prices. Still is good value for money IMO. Wheres the problem in spending $80 on 3 banners? I spent $6k bidding on bid directories, $3k on paid directory submissions.....i could go on all day.
