Banner Advertising - Any Weight?

    I am running out of opitions with sites I want to advertise on, as most of them won't accomate a nice text link, and if they do, they want to charge outrageous prices...

    So, i'm wondering if a banner ad will do any good in SEO? If not, atleast i'll get some new targeted visitors and probably very few.

    The best we can do is to provide a banner with a complete alt description and surrounding content. It will help in SEO but text links is still the best way to go..

    I gotcha.. thats what i thought. I'm going to try it out and see if I can atleast get some traffic out of it.
