It sounds like you are wanting to advertise direct with the publishers rather than using AdBrite or AdWords. If so, do a Google search for your niche keywords and the words advertise here. Change it up a bit until you find what you're looking for.
you find banner ad network.. or ad network like adword.. yahoo... it would be too much work to deal with each website unless the website has very high volume traffic
