I was not sure where the best place to post this was.

I am creating a website with information about investing. I have noticed that many of the big investment information websites, such as thestreet.com or reuters.com, have banner adds from different financial companies on theirsite. This advertising seems to be more common than text links through programs like Adsense.I have also noticed these banner ads on very small investment information sites such as coolinvesting.com.

How do you get these adds onto a site? Do you have to contact the company directly, or is there some sort of pay per click program you can go through that uses these banner adds.

    Thanks.
    Matt

How many impressions do you recieve a month? If you recieve a lot.. (in the thousands to millions) you can use fastclick. (Those aren't investment related ads though,,... they're more of the "free ipod", "free similies" type)

GOOGLE adsense also offers banner ads (in images) if you choose that option.

I am looking for something like coolinvesting.com. That site has investment related banner ads. Any idea on how that site has those adds? It dosen't appear the site has a huge amount of traffic.
