REVIEW: I was offered both the 9 and 8 slots for the review copies (2 different sites). I tracked this traffic via both Google Analytics and Awstats. DomainScour.com This was the 9. Over the 1-week period, I received 2 unique visits from the provided slot. I used this ad, which has proven reasonably effective in conversions. Overall, I would not rate this service very effective for websites offering similar services. Ninjamuk.com This was the 8. Over the 1-week period, I received 5 unique visits from the provided slot. I used this ad, which has also proven reasonably effective in conversions. Overall, I would not rate this service very effective for websites offering similar services. The Breakdown I appreciate the opportunity and the quick service provided by Jiddin, however, 7 unique visits per week is not nearly enough to be worthwhile for me. Out of 10 slots, each with a weight 1-10, I had the 8 and 9. This should have provided me with a 17/55 (about 30%) chance for having one of my ads displayed. In his original post, Jiddin mentioned that this network receives "500,000 page views for the past three months". Taking a straight-average, that equates to approximately 167,000 page views per month. Divided by 30, that leaves us with 5,566 page views per day. For a seven day period, that would give us very near 40,000 page views. Of the 40,000 page views, my ads should have appeared a total of approximately 12,600 times in the course of 1 week. 7 visits, 12,600 supposed page impressions... About 1 visit for every 1800 impresions. Recommended: Unfortunately, I would not recommend this service as it currently stands. With that said, I hold my transactions with Jiddin in high regard and he seems to be a very trustworthy and friendly person to deal with.
If you look at the figures quoted above you will see that the ad was displayed 12600 times in one week. I have absolutely no control over who decides to click on the ads displayed, I can only guarentee that the ads are displayed, which they were. No dissrespect meant by my comments here, but I would suggest a more attnetion grabbing ad would reap better rewards.
