banned

just a question, if you find a site which is listed in archive.org, but doesn't appear in google, does that mean it's banned?

 

Is the site still live, or has the domain expired?

Perhaps the server was down when Google tried to reach it, or there's some other block in that regard as well.

Those are two possibilities that come immediately to mind.

 

expired and was not used recently.. may it be deindexed?

 

I'd say so. Probably not banned, though.

 

I think it would be, it depends how long it hasn't been active for.
