Hey Dan, Yfs1...Just recieved word from the big G, they said my ad placements are in compliance...nice
adsense email said: "Per your request, we have reviewed your site and can confirm that it complies with our program policies at this time." anyone think that may mean a change is on the way?
Alright guys, is this (the ads in the content box) against the TOS? http://www.mypimpspace.com/ They aren't using any borders and it is so blended in I would have clicked on it if I didn't check for Ads by __________
I think that, bc the pictures have absolutely nothing to do with the ads, and the dotted line can be considered a border, that it is ok. Well done
So lets say I was to start a site and wanted to blend it in. Would that mean that if I just put a border on the image it counts as a border between the ads? Also at MyPimpSpace it has the 4 ads then a duplicate thing that looks exactly like the ads but is not, doesn't this trick the people into thinking it is content?
I am def not an expert, have only been at it a few weeks, but look at my site and see what I did. The best bet, and what everyone on this forum will tell you, is to ask adsense to review your site. you will not be penialized for asking. edit: ultimately, do the pictures 'incite users to click the ads?'. IMO, no.
Thats standard legal talk that they always add...It basically means, review the TOS each time its updated and if something is added and it applies to you, you may have to ask again if you are in compliance. It is always added and doesn't have anything to do with images/ads in particular.
I think it would be important to clarify: Did they specify that the problem came from the images or you only suppose this? Quote from the Adsense support: Also how long you've been an Adsense publisher and how many sites you have with ads?
Hi Illusion, Are the links next to the images ads or internal links? When I look at your site, I see a DoubleClick ad, and below it are four links - but all of the links have URLs that are part of your site. Sam
