MentaLRZ, to try to solve your short-term problem, if your hosting cost is reasonable, and you get that many hits, try a "fund raising drive" like our public radio stations over here in the states do. Put up a paypal donate button, and a progress meter, explain your case to the members and ask them to dig deep to keep the site up and running while you find another ad company. Unlike Adsense, you CAN ask people to click on your paypal donate button Anyway, good luck, don't slit a wrist...
I aint asking for money of people for anything, as a publisher on google adwords, been with them for two years and also giving them a fair amount of referal sign ups, i would have thought at least a singular email about the problem would be good. but no.. make them money they do a runner. Thanks for the ideas, and dont worry, im not that depressed but girlfriend aint to happy on finding our we have to cancel our reservation on our fridays meal.
Several different attacks against your site, and then some extra hundreds of clicks? Did you track the clicks (IPs, etc.)?
I didnt say clicks i ment users online, i have not checked my adsense today as i have been busy, its only when i checked i noticed i was banned and then checked email and got the confirmation.. so my asumption is someone was fiddling around with the intensions of suspending me... My best guess is that MMORPG hacking website i reported for TOS breakage last week. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=51765
I was always under the impression that the blendability of AdLinks is part of the whole idea, and the reason why they also limit you to one Link unit per page.
I am pretty sure traffic patterns and traffic sources can have a heavy influence in tipping the google scales. If you were getting a lot of attacks on your site and a lot of bad traffic, that could help contribute to the banning. I think a lot of factors add up to help support if there is a suspicious activity.
Zoos? BTW, this is a great thread. Goober means peanut, but when called one, typically means you have a peanut for a brain. later, tom
