Banned with 10k$ comissions in balance

It is because Comission Junction are a bunch of robbing bastards. And should all be thrown in Jail. They have stolen comissions for years and will continue to do so. Everyone should boycott them FOREVER.

 

CJ doesn't get paid unless valid leads/sales are generated - If an advertiser reports fraud to CJ, and CJ gets rid of the fraudulent publisher, CJ doesn't get paid fees on the money they don't pay. In this case, CJ stood to lose around $3000.

This does not look like a copy and paste from CJ. Obviously the Adwords did not create ban, so the question is how do you prove where/who created the spam? That is the key information that may be important to further explain to CJ. And it may be that you need more information from CJ to have any chance of identifying that source. But if you had the IP addresses of the spam you might be able to somewhat eliminate your ISP IP address.

 

Spam is everywhere. I can only suspect that there were "too many". If the affiliate link of the merchant is in the comment spam, then guess what, you are a spammer. If you are dropping links to increase your ranking and your link comments are relevant to the article then I doubt you would have a problem.

 

Maybe the spamming was generated by your competitor?
click fraud, click boom, spam boom, they are all the net way of getting rid competitor..

Johu said is right. CJ won't get anything by get a rid of the publisher and even loose 30% their earning from publishers commission. I am CJ publishers for over 2 years and never had any problem like this.

This mean no offense but, are you sure you did not send spam traffics? Did you tell CJ representative the whole truth when they send mail asked you a type of traffics? I ask because I never had this kind of email sent to me. If you has been sent then they might found any suspicious of the kind of traffics. If you send them by adwords then it would not have any problem. The direct send from adwords may not be allowed depend on each advertiser agreement.

The conclusion is, if all your traffics is legit then there is no reason for CJ to abandon your account. Wish you could get your account back.

This is a rather disturbing thread actually.

I do not know if the Thread Starter has played by the book. But either way many of us plays legit, having such email sent from someone that you have invested time, money and future is beyond me.

It's not just forget and move on, CJ have advertisers that can't be found elsewhere.

for people who still arduing, cj had an investgation in Jan 2009 over my account and they asked me and i answered them and they closed the case and paid me on 20th Jan and 20th Feb, which means that they sure that i'm not spammer
then suddenly they sent me this message with no question

Now i called them and they said they get back to me taht day or the day after and now it has been 4 days

I will call again on Mondey, and from experience they will not change theit mind but i'm doing what i have to do before complain against them offically

CJ paid Feb Comission, it is less that 40% of the total commission but at least i got back the money i invested on Adword.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

1- as i said cj is not thiefs, they didn't stole my earning
2- but also this mean that they belive that till 28th Feb, my status was ok and i didn't do any spamm, and this made me sure that i did nothing at all, because i was on a vaction on March and i even didn't check my earning

fight for your right get a lawyer and seek for an advise. thats yours, you invested money, effort and time and yet you got nothing.

Keep in mind, sites like CJ are a place where advertisers meet publishers, so CJ only gets paid when publishers promote their advertisers and the advertisers get's sales. So a publisher is very important for CJ. Just talk to your Rep. I don't think there is any other way...to sort this.

 

Why don't they teach ethics in high school?
